Electrifying Energy Brand’s Awareness in UK
Jago was engaged with building awareness of global renewable energy company, Vergnet, when it entered the UK wind energy market in 2013. Key target audiences were identified as part of our communications audit and strategy. The core objective was to quickly build awareness and reputation and generate leads to farmers, developers, planners and investors in all parts of the UK.
What was our approach?+
We took a holistic communications approach to plan how Vergnet could successfully engage all key audiences. This included development of national key messaging to drive growth and an integrated creative strategy incorporating attendance at key agriculture events, farming and renewable industry sponsorships, advertising, high profile media relations campaigns, e-newsletters, high level and grass roots stakeholder engagement, wind energy and farming case studies, broadcast PR, features, opinion articles and development of key partnerships with organisations such as the CLA and RenewableUK. Digital marketing and social media were also a key part of our strategy to launch the brand in the UK.
What was the impact?+
Our work generated significant leads and enquiries for Vergnet helping to secure wind energy projects for the company across England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. We secured substantial media coverage, including in-depth features, across national, trade and regional publications and broadcast stations, igniting brand awareness of Vergnet and advancing commercial growth for the company in the UK. We are proud to continue our work with Vergnet and to have supported the company in the UK and globally with communications for over four years.
