Sharon McMaw

As Marketing Communications Consultant, Sharon brings over 25 years’ of local, national and international experience to the Jago team.

Having started her career in Northern Ireland, Sharon has worked nationally and internationally for many large corporates and start-ups in London and the Middle East. She is a results-driven and highly adaptable global brand marketing and communications expert with experience in both business and consumer markets, influencing effectively at board level.

Sharon’s industry exposure spans telecommunications, media, technology, financial services, public government bodies and food and beverage. She has demonstrated a solid track-record in developing and delivering successful campaigns often driving change and transformation for leading brands including Pearson, Post Office, Atos, Zurich, Wataniya Mobile, Qtel (now Ooredoo), BT, Vodafone, Unilever, BSkyB and CBI.

Skilled in simplifying messages to drive success in often complex environments and projects she is passionate about developing meaningful and successful strategies to meet business needs. Sharon’s extensive skills range from go-to-market marketing communication strategies for business growth including acquisition, retention, new product launch, M&A and IPO to internal communications and employee engagement to change communications, as well as corporate branding and messaging.

In her spare time, Sharon loves spending time with friends and family, good food and wine, visiting new places, a trip to the cinema or theatre. She also enjoys spending lots of time walking her adorable Cavalier King Charles, William in various parks, beaches and woodlands in the UK and Ireland.
