About us

Create true difference

Who we are and what we stand for

We’re the real deal. The true difference we create comes from a determination to deliver results that power the progress of businesses, brands, organisations and individuals.

We promise difference and we measure it, because how else can you be sure that what you do is as effective and efficient as it could and should be? That’s the simple Jago narrative. That’s what we are all about. Always have been and always will be.

Shona Jago-Curtis

Managing Director

A multi award-winning communications leader, Shona has built expertise over three decades in the PR industry.

Initially working at Board level in London advising start-ups to international brand leaders, with both consultancy and client-side experience, she is both driven and passionate about the power of great communications, consumer and corporate.

Shona founded Jago on the commitment KPI-led through-the-line, PR and digital campaigns that demonstrate real commercial impact.

With offices in Belfast and Dublin, since inception Jago has won close over 60 international and national communications awards on behalf of clients reflecting Shona’s drive to create true difference.

Fiona Hanna

Director

Fiona is a driven PR practitioner focused on strategy, insight and creativity.  She has driven award-winning campaigns for Jago’s clients, for multi-million-pound brands to local homegrown businesses.

From influencer marketing to strategic content, she is committed to staying ahead to offer the best service to clients and create true difference.

She leads Jago’s Dublin office and was awarded Ireland’s Young Communications Professional of the Year in 2020. The judges cited, “Fiona greatly impressed each one of our Jury, because of her drive, breadth of experience and her contribution to Public Relations. As well as being hard working and client-centred, she demonstrated strategic thinking with a strong business acumen.”

We have a wider purpose at Jago.

We founded The Go Project in 2017 on the belief that communications with purpose can play a key role in improving lives. During this time, we have supported a number of charities and projects in a pro-bono capacity.

Every year our team are committed to helping communities across Ireland to benefit from The Go Project, helping us to create true difference. Since its formation, we have trained over 30 grass-roots charities on PR and communications skills.

Through the Go Project, we have delivered an award-winning project for Women’s Aid which includes an ongoing high-profile PR campaign focused on building awareness and funding for domestic violence.

We provided full PR support for former Paralympian Peter Ryan, who lives with only 10% of his sight, as he ran over 586km in 5 days from Malin to Mizen run for Vision Ireland, helping him reach over €100,000 in fundraising for new services and research for the blind in Ireland.

If you are an organisation or individual and feel you might benefit from our assistance via The Go Project, please contact us at hello@jagocommunications.com
