Voice for Oil Home Heating in Ireland
Since 2012, Jago has been the communications and PR partner of choice for OFTEC to develop highly targeted consumer campaigns for the oil industry across Ireland complemented by effective legislative, industry and trade communications.
What was our approach?+
We focus firmly on outcomes, from encouraging oil consumers to remain with oil to vital safety messaging. Jago continually adapts, refines and hones the creative strategy based on the energy sector and a broad range of individual target audiences. A range of newsworthy campaigns are continually developed to ensure oil home heating has a clear, consistent and strong voice in Ireland.
What was the impact?+
Over 500 pieces of media coverage has been achieved across Ireland by Jago. With broadcast media a key focus, our campaigns have hit almost every radio station across the island, several times over and regular national print coverage including The Irish Times, Independent, Irish Daily Mail, Sun, Belfast Telegraph and Irish News. In the first year alone, we increased OFTEC’s brand visibility by 84%. We are proud that our work has helped drive continued householder preference for the most popular home heating fuel in Ireland and Northern Ireland while also providing vital safety and energy efficiency advice and protecting more than 50,000 jobs in the industry.
"During our time working with Jago, the company has helped to grow our media profile and consumer awareness significantly, including increasing broadcast coverage by almost 300%. They are proactive in planning and developing creative angles to help keep OFTEC and our issues in the media spotlight. Their ongoing strategic advice and results-oriented approach makes them an invaluable communications partner."
