Go Project for James!

Last week, we were so thrilled to support nine-year-old James Cunningham in his impressive charity cycle for the Peter McVerry Trust.

As part of our Go Project, our own corporate social responsibility initiative, we spread the word as James virtually cycled over 256km over two days, all from his home in Dublin!

James has raised over €3,567 for the worthy charity, breaking both his distance and monetary targets over the Bank Holiday weekend. Peter McVerry Trust are playing a lead role in the response to COVID-19 to protect vulnerable people in homeless services.

James was a superstar over the two days, supported by his family, including 12-year-old Elise and 6-year-old Benjamin, cheering him on!

We were SO proud to share James’ journey and updates across media in Ireland, you might have spotted him or heard him on the likes of Newstalk FM, Radio Nova, Virgin Media, RTÉ, UTV, Irish Independent, Irish Mirror, Belfast Telegraph, Irish Examiner, Irish News, Woman’s Way, The Herald, Irish Post, Irish Daily Mail…everyone was so pleased to support James & help him raise awareness of the plight of homelessness.

We launched The Go Project based on our belief that communications with purpose can play a key role in improving lives and we were so happy to play our part to help James. Thanks to his mum Fiona for bringing it to our attention & giving us the chance to support!

Onwards and upwards for James, we can see this nine-year-old going far! You can follow James’s journey on Twitter @jamescun2000 or share your support by donating via his Just Giving Page here.
