Jago Tops the Charts with NINE CIPR Awards!

What a night at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations #PrideAwards… Jago took home the most awards from the ceremony with nine awards under our arm leaving the Culloden Hotel in Belfast on Friday night!

We were completely overwhelmed with the recognition across nine different categories, not least because they recognise client campaigns with real impact, commercial or otherwise. It is great to get wider industry recognition for this in particular.

We were thrilled for the second year running to pick up Outstanding PR Consultancy sliver award. A true achievement – Go Team!

In addition, it was excellent to be recognised for our creativity and results across a full range of categories, including winning GOLD for the first ever Best Use of Influencer Relations award for our What’s Keeping You? Campaign with Tourism NI. The CIPR Judges commented:

“The judges were impressed with the initial research that included identifying gaps and an influencer audit. The strategy focused on using their influencer across a fully integrated campaign that was creative, fun and highly energised. Having media, content and digital strategies built into the delivery of the campaign was a particular highlight and clearly contributed towards the success of this campaign.”

Additional category wins included:

  • Integrated Campaign of the Year (Gold)
  • Influencer Communications of the Year (Gold)
  • Public Sector Campaign of the Year (Silver)
  • Social Media Communications campaign (Silver)
  • Best Event (Silver)
  • Best Use of Media Relations (Silver)
  • Arts, Culture & Sport Campaign (Silver)

A huge thanks to our clients, we really enjoy working with them to deliver their growth ambitions beyond the NI market with award-winning campaigns.

While I am deeply proud of all our awards, I am also particularly delighted for our fantastic colleague Fiona who picked up a much coveted Young Communicator of the Year silver award – onwards and upwards for this great member of our team and industry in Ireland!

Jago is also heading to London on 5th November for the International Travel and Tourism Awards 2019, celebrating the very best of travel and tourism on a globe scale. We can’t wait to join industry from all over the world, from Europe, the USA and Africa to the Caribbean, with Jago and Tourism Northern Ireland selected as finalists for the Best PR Campaign… Watch this space!
