And…. Some Positive News – Team Jago Success at Travel Marketing Awards 2020

At the end of what is undoubtedly one of the most challenging weeks in terms of health, society and business……including so many of our fantastic clients, we are glad to reflect on a little positive news amongst the very difficult headlines.

Our little positive news follows the Travel Marketing Awards 2020 in London last week…

We were extremely proud to be on stage with Tourism NI as the final award of the evening was announced – Destination Brand of the Decade.

The Destination Brand of the Decade award saw Northern Ireland triumph over a number of very worthy competitors for the title including Tourism Western Australia, Japan National Tourism Organization, Turismo Centro Portugal and Malta.

It was really fantastic to see the transformation of brand Northern Ireland recognised at this level, with strategy, creativity and resilience putting NI truly in the international spotlight!

Also, we were so thrilled that Fiona’s hard work was individually recognised as she collected the prestigious The Rising Star of Travel PR award! The judges commended Fiona’s role in the opening of Jago’s Dublin office, as well as her expertise working with a range of travel plans including developing and delivering the ‘What’s Keeping You’ campaign with Tourism NI.

Our work with Tourism NI in the Republic of Ireland market over the past two years was also recognised within the International Campaign category.

It was a fantastic night, with renowned national and internationally brands recognised for their hard-work and dedication. There was a collective sentiment that the travel industry will be facing challenges but that we will be in it together and back for TMA 2021!
